It Cyber Security - Gabriel
It's time to fight back against computer/teach scams. Woodside has invited Gabriel Lemnaru to lead a presentation on this hot topic. The date is April 28th from 3-5 at Woodside Country Club. Participants will learn how to defend themselves against an evolving landscape of phishing campaigns and fraud attempts. While security tools like anti-viruses and firewalls are essential, the "Human Link" remains the most critical and vulnerable part of the cybersecurity chain. As scams become more sophisticated, individual losses often range from $500 to $2,500, with some cases reaching tens of thousands of dollars. Because law enforcement resources are often limited for these investigations, education is the most effective defense. The session will be led by Gabriel Lemnaru, who has 20 years of experience in computer and network security. Gabriel holds an MS in Information Security and Assurance and is a Certified Ethical Hacker, Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator, and Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate.
